The petrol range includes a 2.0 litre four-cylinder engine, which produces 110kW of power at 6200rpm and 198Nm of torque at 4200rpm, with only a 7.2 litres fuel consumption per 100km1. 

The 2.5-litre petrol engine provides more power with 126kW of power at 5800rpm and 235Nm@4100rpm of torque, with fuel consumption of 8.1 litres per 100km.

The Forester 2.0XT and Forester 2.0XT Premium models feature a 2.0-litre direct injection turbocharged, four-cylinder DOHC petrol engine with Dual Active Valve Control System for sports performance and high power output.

Go even further with the Forester turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder DOHC Diesel engine.
